JUST so you know, ALL of our wedding photography collections include your engagement photo session… so if you are looking for both your wedding and engagement photographer, lets check your date!
As portrait professionals, we have a few tips and recommendations for you, to maximize your Engagement session… here are some tips from JSP:
- At JSP, we like to think of your engagement session as an intimate “Getting to know you session” before your Wedding day. During your engagement photo session you will get to know your Jordana Snyder Photography while getting more comfortable in front of the camera.

- Most of our couples have their engagement photos taken 6-8 Month before their wedding, however, there are NO rules about timing. Think about the seasons and what type of photos you would like… (*Fall is THE most popular time of year for engagement photos, so book your session early!). Save the Date cards typically go out 6 months prior to the wedding, keep that timeframe in mind when booking your engagement photo session.
Here are some common Q &A’s, that may be helpful for your engagement planning:
Q.) How many outfits can I wear for my engagement photos?
A.) Normally our couples have time for 2-3 outfits depending on locations.
Q.) How long do engagement photos take to photograph?
A.) We spend about 1-1.5 Hours with our couples for engagement photos. The Session is fun and relaxed… we chit-chat and get to know one another and of course take beautiful photos.
Q.) Can I bring my pet?
A.) YES please do!
Q.) Can you photograph my engagement session even if you are not my wedding photographer?
A.) Absolutely! Sometimes, its not possible for your wedding photographer to photograph your engagement session OR you just want something different… please contact us!
Q.) Do you supply props?
A.) No, we do not supply props. If you want “props” please bring your own.
